UNION BANK PHILIPPINES IS EMBARASSING!

if you read the title then, you're right, their online system sucks!!!to be straight, its been almost 2 weeks since I applied for UNIONBANK VISA EON...the problem is that not a single email coming from them has updated me or confirmed my application for the said service...I don't know if they know what the term innovation and online is...because I suppose that when you use online service it should be efficient and fast...but I guess the problem is they don't deliver that kind of service to their customers...they're are just lucky that they're the only bank that recognizes Paypal transactions efficiently...

so if you are a paypal user here in the philippines..then instead of applying for Unionbank's VISA EON then why not just apply for a credit card or other debit cards.

that's all for now...

Hi Teddy,

I know your frustration but i think you didnt read the instructions well of Union Bank. You have to go to the branch where you opened the account and claim your card and submit the necessary papers for verification and pay the annual fee of PhP350. No email will be sent to you. Then deposit initial PhP for the verification process of Paypal (if you will use it to verify your paypal account). After that, wait for about 3-5 days and call for expuse number that you will use for paypal to lift your withdrawal limit. Then wait for about 2 weeks for the hold period to be lifted (but you can call them 5 days after para mabilisin nila lifting).

Its harder to apply for a credit or debit card than apply for an EON. Its a matter of reading in forums and blogs what others have experienced with EON or with Union Bank for that matter. Anyway, good luck and hope you get your card.

well, actually i have read forums and blogs that explains how to apply for the visa eon of union bank and steps on how to verify my paypal account. sad to say, it's really disappointing that they never informed users that their system was having problems, not a note or notification on their website. so basically on my part as an applicant, i did my part, i have all the requirements that they need, but i guess the problem is with the service of the bank..now i am thinking of other alternatives rather than unionbank...i swear i will never have the service of this bank..

It really sucks. I have the same problem with the TXN password, and until now i never got a reply, ..and there's nothing on the site, a help or what that will tell you what to do or where to go if you can't login using your username or if you forgot your username, ..

hahayyyzzzz
